SAN FRANCISCO and WAKEFIELD, Mass., Aug. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- LF Networking (LFN), the de facto collaboration hub for open source networking projects under the Linux Foundation, and the AI-RAN Alliance, a global consortium dedicated to revolutionizing AI-RAN (Artificial Intelligence-Radio Access Networks), today announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on accelerating innovation in AI-native networks and advancing the evolution toward 6G.

The collaboration brings together LFN's open development model and the AI-RAN Alliance's mission to optimize AI-RAN, aiming to enhance network performance and flexibility through open innovation.

Under the MOU, LF Networking and the AI-RAN Alliance will work together to support shared goals and promote progress in AI-RAN.
